Following a major acquisition and a complete overhaul by the team behind Jamberoo Action Park, Sydney Action Park officially opened its gates to the public on Saturday, September 26, marking a brand new era for the Western Sydney attraction.

It has been a whirlwind few months since the surprise announcement that international operator Parques Reunidos had sold the property to local management. Dropping its former Raging Waters moniker, the newly rebranded Sydney Action Park says that it aims to bring the presentation standards, energy, and family focus of its sister park to Western Sydney.

Located just 10 minutes from Blacktown train station, the park is positioning itself as the ultimate summer escape. Promising to be open for more than 128 days this season, the destination invites guests to experience a refreshed atmosphere where "the action begins... and never stops."

From high-speed water slides that test your nerve to relaxed rides suited for the whole family, the water park caters to every kind of visitor. Whether visitors are chasing their fastest drop yet, challenging their friends down the tallest slide in the park, or simply looking to cool off on a hot Sydney day, the refreshed property is built for big days out.

This launch represents the third chapter for the sprawling site, which originally opened to enormous hype as Wet'n'Wild Sydney back in 2013 before transitioning to Raging Waters Sydney in 2019. With local leadership now at the helm and a heavy emphasis on community, landscaping, and elevated guest experiences, the park looks set to shake off its previous corporate stagnation and claim its place as an iconic summer destination.
