Luna Park Melbourne is urging families to trade their devices for thrills this spring, launching its latest campaign focusing on less screentime and more screamtime as the school holidays arrive.

With warmer weather hitting Melbourne and a sunny opening weekend predicted, the historic amusement park is rolling out a packed line-up of attractions.

A highlight for visitors is the return of their iconic Great Scenic Railway. Following its scheduled annual winter maintenance, the historic wooden rollercoaster is fully operational once again, offering riders sweeping views across St Kilda alongside its trademark adrenaline rush.

Families can also explore the newly restored Luna Palace. This fresh space brings the beloved Dodgem Cars back into action within a spectacular refurbished home, sitting alongside a brand-new Penny Arcade that's designed to give their visitors yet more ways to play.

Beyond these headline additions, guests can enjoy a full day of "real world entertainment". Classic favorites remain open, including the magnificent heritage Carousel, various thrill and family rides, traditional carnival games, and plenty of fairy floss.
