Following an overwhelmingly positive response from visitors, Dreamworld has announced the addition of an extra night to its brand-new Christmas in July after-dark event.
Due to popular demand, the Gold Coast theme park will host an additional festive evening on Saturday 11 July 2026, giving families one final opportunity to experience the winter wonderland.
The event, which runs from 5:30pm to 9:00pm, transforms the park into a magical snowy escape after the sun goes down.
Organisers have confirmed that tickets are strictly limited per night, and while previous dates sold out quickly, limited tickets remain available for this newly added final Saturday session.
Festive Highlights and Night-Time Thrills
Dreamworld's Christmas in July offers a diverse lineup of seasonal activities and entertainment for all ages, including:
- Festive Lights and Displays: Guests can wander through the North Pole Walkthrough, a sparkling winter wonderland filled with glowing festive scenes and larger-than-life light installations.
- Seasonal Winter Activities: Winter favourites are available throughout the night, featuring an ice slide, ice skating, and open fires for marshmallow toasting.
- Character Appearances: Roving entertainment and special appearances from Santa and Mrs Claus provide perfect festive photo opportunities.
- Night Rides: Guests can experience unlimited thrills on a wide selection of Dreamworld's family attractions and iconic thrill rides under the night sky.
- Fireworks Finale: Each event night concludes with Santa’s Sky Spectacular, a festive fireworks display launched above Main Street at 9:00pm.
Separate Ticket Requirements
Christmas in July is a separately ticketed night-time event, meaning standard day admission tickets and annual passes do not grant entry. Optional festive add-ons are also available to purchase inside the park during the event, such as gingerbread decorating, special holiday treats, and festive buffet bookings.
