Dreamworld is set to transform into a festive seasonal playground once again, bringing the magic of a European-style winter back to the Gold Coast for the upcoming school holidays.
Running daily from Saturday 27 June to Sunday 12 July 2026, Winterfest layers winter activities on top of the park's lineup of rides, family attractions, and wildlife encounters.
Best of all, access to the event is included in the price of a standard Dreamworld entry ticket or Annual Pass.

Festive Entertainment and Daily Shows
This year's event introduces a fresh lineup of live entertainment across the park. At the Dreamworld Theatre, guests can catch Kenny & Belinda's Winter Whirlwind Show, performing daily at 12:00pm and 2:10pm. The production follows the park's iconic mascots as they navigate a surprise mishap that throws their plans into chaos, forcing them to work together to set things right before winter frosts over.
Meanwhile, Main Street will host Snow Much Trouble daily at 1:10pm and 3:10pm. The performance sees a sudden flurry of snow blow through the area as a chaotic, high-energy crew takes over the street with dance moves and festive mayhem.
Classic Winter Activities and Upgrades
The centrepiece of the event is the return of the pop-up ice skating rink, allowing visitors of all ages and skill levels to glide across the ice. Rink sessions are limited and expected to fill up quickly. While ice skating is included with selected Annual Passes, standard day guests can secure a session booking for $15.
Families looking to explore the park together can take part in the Winterfest Quest. The self-guided adventure sends children and parents on a journey to follow clues and discover hidden corners of the park, with a prize waiting for every explorer at the finish line.
For visitors looking to maximise their day, the park is offering a Winterfest Experience Pass upgrade for $39.95. The package bundles a single Ride Express pass to skip the queues, $20 of Gamesite credit, and access to the Winterfest Quest.
Separately Ticketed Christmas in July Evenings
Alongside the daytime festivities, Dreamworld will host a series of exclusive, separately ticketed night events. The Christmas in July evenings will run from 5:30pm to 9:00pm on Saturday 27 June, Friday 3 July, and Saturday 4 July 2026.
These special evening events feature immersive decorations, a North Pole Walkthrough with sparkling light displays and snow dumps, and appearances from Santa and Mrs Claus. Guests can enjoy unlimited night rides on the park's top thrill coasters and family attractions, alongside winter highlights like an ice slide and marshmallow toasting, before the night concludes with Santa's Sky Spectacular fireworks display.
