Dreamworld has taken its wildlife experiences to the next level with the official launch of WILD with Australian Geographic, a reimagined precinct that blends the thrill of a theme park visit with a strong message of conservation.
The new collaboration between Dreamworld and Australian Geographic was celebrated in early September 2025, marking a major milestone for wildlife education in Australia.
This exciting partnership aims to inspire visitors of all ages to connect with native animals, and understand the importance of protecting the country’s unique biodiversity.
“These students are the next generation of nature guardians,” said Australian Geographic Managing Director Izaac Blomley, after seeing young guests' reactions. “Their excitement at meeting the koalas and snakes shows how WILD will inspire Australians of all ages to connect with our native wildlife.”
A Wildlife Precinct with a Purpose
Formerly known as Dreamworld’s Corroboree & Australian Wildlife area, the precinct has now been fully refreshed under the WILD with Australian Geographic banner. The upgrades include:
-
Enhanced habitats, such as a redesigned enclosure for Goldie, the park’s resident wedge-tailed eagle.
-
A new tree-kangaroo habitat, currently in development for the rare Lumholtz’s tree-kangaroo.
-
The Bilby Discovery Centre, opened in 2023 to raise awareness for this threatened species.
Dreamworld’s Head of Life Sciences, Michele Barnes, describes the partnership as “a milestone in our mission to champion wildlife education and conservation,” adding that WILD will give guests new ways to engage with more than 38 native species, including Tasmanian devils.

Immersive Storytelling with Our Country
A standout feature of the new precinct is the permanent installation of Australian Geographic Our Country. This breathtaking multi-screen cinematic experience spans seven screens with floor-to-ceiling projections and immersive surround sound. Guests are taken on a sweeping journey through Australia’s rainforests, deserts, oceans, and night skies—an audiovisual celebration of the continent’s natural beauty.
Previously a touring production that captivated audiences across Australia and overseas, Our Country now has a dedicated home at Dreamworld, ensuring visitors can enjoy it year-round.
A Must-See for Theme Park and Nature Lovers
With its blend of interactive wildlife encounters, educational storytelling, and Dreamworld’s trademark family-friendly atmosphere, WILD with Australian Geographic offers something truly unique on the Gold Coast. Whether you’re a theme park regular or a first-time visitor, this precinct is a powerful reminder of why Australia’s wildlife is worth protecting—and a fun, inspiring stop on any Dreamworld adventure.
