Luna Park Sydney will re-open on June 26 following a $30 million upgrade including the introduction of 8 new rides.

Additions to the park include a 30-metre high 360° thrill ride, a family roller coaster and 6 children’s rides. A total of 62 shipping containers from various ride manufacturers including Intamin, Gerstlauer and Zamperla ensured the safe arrival of all the rides.

The new multi-launch roller coaster, the Big Dipper, will open in December.

PLUS... launching in December 2021

The Big Dipper has been manufactured by Intamin in Switzerland, one of the world’s biggest manufacturer of coasters. It will be an Australian first, plus the world’s first single rail launched roller coaster, with a top speed in excess of 70 kilometres per hour.
