Sea World on the Gold Coast in Australia will be re-opening on June 26 under an industry-approved COVID Safe plan.

The park will be operating at 50% capacity and all guests will be required to download their entry tickets onto the Village Roadshow Theme Parks app for contactless entry and virtual queuing for the rides.

Some of the rides and attractions, experiences, shows, meet and greets, food and retail outlets may be modified or temporarily unavailable.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) has created a range of challenges for theme parks in Australia.

All theme parks in Australia remain open but expect to see a number of initiatives aimed at maintaining a safe environment including enhanced cleaning regimes and increased availability of hand sanitisation products.

Warner Bros. Movie World has opened the WB Studio Showcase, featuring over 30 authentic costumes in addition to film used cars and props, to make the attraction the largest Warner Bros. exhibit of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere.
