Adventure Park in Geelong is turning up the thrill factor this summer with the launch of Thunder Falls, Victoria’s first-ever freefall drop water slides, opening 22 November 2025.

The brand-new attraction features two side-by-side body slides, each offering a high-adrenaline experience that begins in a transparent launch chamber. Riders step inside, feel the rumble of thunder beneath their feet, and then—3…2…1… DROP!—the trapdoor floor opens, plunging them into 105 metres of twisting, high-speed water-filled chaos at up to 35 km/h.

Standing 25 metres tall, Thunder Falls is designed to deliver a heart-racing, gravity-defying experience for thrill-seekers and families alike. The slides are made from translucent fibreglass, letting spectators on the ground watch as riders race through the spiraling flumes—adding an extra layer of excitement for everyone around the splash zone.
