One of Warner Bros. Movie World’s most beloved attractions has made its long-awaited return, with the Scooby-Doo Spooky Coaster officially reopening on December 14.
Since first debuting in June 2002—but closed for refurbishment since January 2023—the ride has been a fan favourite thanks to its mix of classic Scooby-Doo humor, eerie atmosphere, and unpredictable track layout.

An exciting new Intamin Gyro Swing thrill ride named King Claw is now open at Dreamworld on the Gold Coast in Australia.
At a towering 27 metres, King Claw swings more than 50% higher than the park's previous version, The Claw, which opened in 2004.
Reaching a blistering 98 km/h, 50% faster than its predecessor, King Claw’s arc swings 42 metres high, soaring beyond Steel Taipan’s tallest point.

Adventure Park in Geelong is turning up the thrill factor this summer with the launch of Thunder Falls, Victoria’s first-ever freefall drop water slides, opening 22 November 2025.
The brand-new attraction features two side-by-side body slides, each offering a high-adrenaline experience that begins in a transparent launch chamber. Riders step inside, feel the rumble of thunder beneath their feet, and then—3…2…1… DROP!—the trapdoor floor opens, plunging them into 105 metres of twisting, high-speed water-filled chaos at up to 35 km/h.
Standing 25 metres tall, Thunder Falls is designed to deliver a heart-racing, gravity-defying experience for thrill-seekers and families alike. The slides are made from translucent fibreglass, letting spectators on the ground watch as riders race through the spiraling flumes—adding an extra layer of excitement for everyone around the splash zone.

Gold Coast theme park Warner Bros. Movie World has officially announced the return of its popular after-dark event, Fright Nights, on selected nights throughout October.
Fright Nights 2025 will feature two all-new mazes, Krypt of Kain and Eternal Dark, designed to deliver a whole new level of terror. Guests will be able to explore five terrifying mazes, five gruesome precincts, eight panic rooms, and four Warner Bros. Horror Encounters throughout the park.
For thrill-seekers, Movie World rides will remain open during the event, and for the first time, the park’s Flight of the Wicked Witch will operate exclusively for Fright Nights attendees.
